Mikron uses a premium grade proprietary stainless steel for extrusion die tooling. Our "modified" stainless steel is produced only in Sweden. To get the best tool quality, we import the finest steel to our North American Tooling facility.
For tooling systems that maintain profile dimensional integrity, we use stainless steel calibration tooling components with aircraft-grade hardness to deliver and maintain tighter dimensional tolerances. This assures you can fabricate consistent quality windows from order to order.
