Mikron is committed to environmental stewardship through recycling materials to reduce waste.
- Of the scrap material resulting from the vinyl window and door manufacturing process, 91% of this vinyl material is recycled back into producing new vinyl window and door components.
Mikron designed vinyl windows and doors that use Low-E coated glass which greatly enhances energy efficiency year-round.
- This is accomplished by reducing solar heat gain in the summer to limit energy required for cooling and reduced conductive heat loss in the winter to lower heating costs.
